At least 40 people have been injured in an accident involving a passenger bus in Nuwakot on Wednesday.
The bus en route to Kathmandu from Bungtang met with an accident at around 10:30 am at Lamatar of Bidur Municipality-9. According to the police, the bus (Ba 2 Kha 2804) fell some 40 meters down the road as the road caved in from its edge when the bus was trying to clear space for another vehicle.
According to Nuwakot's senior superintendent of police, Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, among the injured seven are in critical condition and have been sent to Kathmandu for further treatment while others are undergoing treatment at the Trishuli Hospital. RSS
