Traffic along the Narayangadh-Muglin road has resumed on Sunday. It had come to a halt since 10:25 pm last night due to landslide.
The road was obstructed due to a landslide at Ghumaune in ward no. 29 of Bharatpur metropolis. Clearing of the debris of the landslide could not take place during the night and it was cleared this morning. The road was opened for traffic at 9:15 am, just a while ago, District Police Office, Chitwan said.
The road has been continuously obstructed at the same location for the past few days. On Saturday, landslides at Ghumaune obstructed traffic for four hours.
Travellers have suffered due to repeated obstruction on the busy road, due to landslides triggered by heavy rainfall since the past three days.
