Several lawmakers of Province 7 have demanded strong action against the persons involved in rape and subsequent murder of 13-year-old Nirmala Panta.

Speaking at the assembly meeting on Sunday, a number of lawmakers expressed their concerns about the gruesome crime and demanded the provincial government to instruct police to investigate the case thoroughly and arrest the perpetrators.

Provincial Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Prakash Bahadur Shah said assured the concerned lawmakers that the murderers of Nirmala will not be spared. (PR)
