9-member committee to look after Dr KC’s health
The Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on Thursday formed a nine-member committee of doctors to look after the health of Dr Govinda KC, who has been staging fast-unto-death for the past 27 days demanding reforms in medical education sector.The Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on Thursday formed a nine-member committee of doctors to look after the health of Dr Govinda KC, who has been staging fast-unto-death for the past 27 days demanding reforms in medical education sector.
The TUTH Executive Director Mandira Wanta said the nine-member committee was formed under the headship of Dr Pradeep Krishna Shrestha, Head of Department of General Medicine and Dr Dibya Singh Shah, Head of Department of Nephrology, read a statement issued by the TUTH this afternoon. Shah is the personal doctor of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The team will carry out regular health check up of anti-corruption crusader Dr KC.
“I request the hospital management and the team of doctors to cooperate and coordinate in order to make all necessary arrangement for the treatment of Dr KC,” Wanta directed.
Dr Subash Acharya, Dr Pramesh Sundar Shrestha, Dr Surya Devkota, Dr Pankaj Panta, Dr Rabin Nepali, Deputy Administrator Tanka Bahadur Karki and Nursing Officer Ganga Thapa are the members of the team.
