Nepalese Doctors’ Association UK has expressed solidarity with Dr Govinda KC, who has been staging hunger strike since June 30 demanding reforms in medical education sector.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Association urged the government to be serious towards the health of Dr KC and sort out the issue at the earliest.
The Doctors’ Association has also said that it will extend support to the Nepali Medical Association, which has been providing health education and training along with health service in the rural areas of Nepal.
The health condition of Dr KC, who had already staged a series of hunger strikes in the past demanding reforms in medical sector, is deteriorating day by day. Dr KC’s hunger strike has entered 25th day on Tuesday.
