A Nepal Army Corporal from Bajhang-based Sangram Gulma Pankot died after falling off an irrigation canal at Masta Rural Municipality.
Corporal Ram Bahadur Bohara was on a leave and at his village, Jhargaun in Masta Rural Municipality-6 when he fell some 60 metres down while channeling water to irrigate his farm.
According to his relatives, Corporal Bohora, 32, died while being taken to district hospital following the incident.
