A non-gazetted first class officer of Biratnagar-based Land Reform office in Morang was caught red-handed along with bribe on Sunday.
A team of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Itahari caught non-gazetted first class officer Damodar Khatiwada from his office along with Rs 30,000 he had received as bribe from a service seeker.
CIAA joint-secretary and spokesperson Rameshwor Dangal informed that the commission is conducting further investigation regarding the matter.
