Two persons were swept away by Phu Khola at Narpa Bhumi Rural Municipality-4 in Manang ditrict on Tuesday.
Police said the two persons—Shital Pun Magar, 19, and Ramesh Buda Magar, 20,—were swept away while crossing the river. Shital slipped and fell into the river while Ramesh jumped into the river but was swept away while trying to save Shital.
Inspector Binod Shrestha said they were informed about the incident only a day after the incident on Wednesday. He added they are searching for the missing men.
