A fire that started at Trishuli Hydropower station on Tuesday has been brought under control.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire that began around 2:45pm today at the 21 megawatt project was caused by an electrical short-circuit, police said.
Assistant Inspector Raju Lamichhane, who is at the incident site, informed that machineries used in the production of electricity have sustained damages in the fire. He, however, said complete details regarding the damage are yet to be ascertained.
