At least 45 people have been dead in various instances of natural disaster across the nation in the span of one week.
According to the Home Ministry, nine people are missing and 20 people have sustained injuries in various instances of floods, landslides, lightning strikes among other rain-induced disasters following the arrival of monsoon season.
Of those deceased, many people have lost their lives after they were swept away or drowned while crossing the rivers or bathing in one.
