House meet put off for Monday

NC lawmakers Dilendra Badu, Azhar Kamal Musalman and Parwati BC had registered and the proposal and demanded that it be discussed at the today’s parliament meet. The proposal comprised of issues relating to save the life of Dr Govinda KC, who is on a indefinite hunger strike since Saturday in Jumla and discussion of Medical Education Bill.
Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara deferred the House meet after NC chief whip Bal Krishna Khand, speaking shortly after the commencement of House proceedings, informed that until discussions are held on the proposal they would disrupt the parliament meet.
