Property worth Rs 500,000 was destroyed in a fire that broke out at a sweet shop in Sarpallo bazaar of Manara municipality-7.
The sweet shop owned by Taleswar Shah caught fire all of a sudden Saturday evening, burning to ashes all the sweets, utensils, furniture and cash inside the shop.
Early estimates say that property worth Rs 500,000 was destroyed, according to SP at District Police Office, Mahottari Kunber Kadayat.
The incident reportedly took place as the shop was full of customers. However, nobody was hurt. The reason behind the origin of the fire is being investigated. RSS
