Two people have gone missing after a jeep plunged into Kali gandaki River near Tiplyang in Raghuganga Rural Municipality-1 of Myagdi on Thursday.
According to the police, a Bolero jeep (Lu 2 Cha 2454) en route to district headquarters Beni from Gharamdi in Annapurna Rural Municipality-7 fell into the Kali Gandaki River at around 4pm today.
Driver Rabi Khadka and passenger Sabita Pariyar have gone missing following the incident. However, the police are yet to confirm if there were other passengers aboard the jeep.
SP Bir Bahadur Buda said although police and locals have reached the incident site, the rise in the water level of the river has hampered the rescue works.
