Two persons, including ward chairman of Triveni Municipality, were killed in a jeep accident in Bajura district on Wednesday evening.

Police said Khamma Nepali, ward chairman of Triveni Municipality-1, and Lalsara Buda also of the same municipality died when the jeep (Se 1 Ja 999) fell off the road in the municipality.

Seven persons injured in the accident have been sent to Bayalpata Hospital in Achham for treatment.

Police said passengers overload might have caused the accident. The jeep was en route to Chatara from Triveni Municipality.
