A youth has brutally killed his wife at Tilachaur of Bhimdutta Municipality-8 in Kanchanpur district.
Police said Keshab Karki, 35, killed his wife Gita Karki, 27, while she was working on the field by hitting her with a spade.
The reason behind the murder has not been known but police suspected family issues to be the reason, said District Police Office Kanchanpur Inspector Ekendra Khadka. Karki has been detained and an investigation is underway.
