A 13-year-old girl of Aurahi municipality-2 in Mahottari district has been raped on Sunday evening.

Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Gaushala, Bhola Bhatta, said that two local youths — Rakesh Sada and Rhitik Sada raped the girl when she had gone to wash utensils at Jangha rivulet. 

Police have arrested Rhitik Sada while Rakesh Sada has been absconding after the incident. Necessary investigation into the case was underway.
