Three persons have been arrested with muskets at Rainas Municipality-10, Lamjung district, said DSP Yadav Dhakal.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the residences of Gaine Sunar, 46, Gajendra BK, 39, and found the muskets. Another man Santosh BK, 26, has also been arrested after police found him hiding a musket in his neighbour’s farmland.

Police have been investigating them under possession of arms and ammunitions.

In another separate incident, five persons were arrested for gambling at Serabazar in Besisahar- Municipality-8 on Wednesday. Police seized Rs 48,755 and cards from the gamblers.
