A Nepali worker died while working in a road construction project in Lipulekh.
Jaya Singh Dhami of Paunyakhola in Mahakali Municipality was critically injured after being struck by a stone in the construction site on Sunday. Dhami was refilling the dozer used in the road construction with fuel when a stone fell and hit him. He died while on his way to the hospital, his relatives said.
He had been working as a daily wage labour in the road construction for a year. Indian side has been constructing the road connecting Uttarakhanda to Lipulekh.
This is the second death of a Nepali citizen after the death of one Trilok Singh Bista of Byas Rural Municipality-4 fell into the Mahakali River around three months ago.
