Ward member of Musikot Muncipality-3 has been arrested from a gambling house on Tuesday night.
Acting on a tip off, a police team raided a hotel in Musikot Muncipality-5 at 11pm yesterday night and arrested ward member Tek Bahadur BK along with Govinda Buda, Mitralal KC, Madhav Prasad Sharma, and Ram Bahadur Giri, among others.
The police have also recovered Rs 181,000 from the gambling spot.
District Police Office Chief DSP Sumit Khadka informed that a case has been registered under the Gambling Act against the arrested.
