The Constitutional Council (CC) on Tuesday recommended Acting Chief Justice Deeepak Raj Joshee as new Chief Justice (CJ) of the Supreme Court (SC).
A meeting of the CC held this afternoon decided to recommend Joshee’s name for the top post of judiciary.
Joshee has been working as the Acting CJ after then CJ Gopal Parajuli resigned from his post on March 15, 2018.
