Weeks after the merger of the two communist parties— CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre)— to form Nepal Communist Party, the journalists affiliated to the two parties are also preparing for a union.
The meeting of UML-aligned Press Chautari and the Maoist Centre-close Press Centre on Sunday formed a two-member task force to prepare the draft statute of the new unified body.
The meeting also decided to hold the central committee meetings of the two organisations to finalise the merger process. (PR)
