A Tara Air aircraft flying from Nepalgunj to Jumla had a narrow escape on Saturday at Jumla Airport after one of its tyres blew on landing, officials said.
The nose of the aircraft suffered damages accident, Manager Bhimraj Rai of the airlines company said. All the 18 passengers and three crew members are safe.
General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport Raj Kumar Chhetri said the accident occurred after a wheel of the plane got punctured during the landing. All passengers and crew members of the plane are safe, according to Chhetri. The accident took place at around 3:00 this afternoon while landing the plane at Jumla Airport.
