According to the Surkhet Police Chief, SP Uma Prasad Chaturwedi, the lightning struck the Dharapani-based Primary School at around 11 am today morning killing Ammar Bahadur Chand and Nirmala Chand of grade 2. Both students, seven years old, were attending their classes when the incident took place.
Likewise, grade 1 students Nirmal Chand, Pabitra Shahi among five others were injured. The injured are receiving medical treatment at local Matela Health Post.
