A father killed his son at Kamalbinayak in Bhaktapur Municipality-10 on Sunday.
According to police, Palman Giri, 35, a resident of Changunarayan, attacked his son Pratik Giri, 12, with a knife and killed him.
Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur Information Officer Inspector Sushil Kumar Pandey informed that Pratik, who sustained serious injuries following the knife attack, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Sinamangal, Kathmandu-based KMC Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police Circle, Jagati have arrested Palman and is investigating the incident.
