Two people died in a jeep accident that occurred at Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality in Okhaldhunga district on Thursday.

According to an eyewitness, Min Kumar Dhamala, the ill-fated jeep (Na 1 Ja 4950) veered off the road at a sharp turn in Bhandare, Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality-6 killing a man and a woman and injuring two others travelling in the vehicle.

Police and locals reached the accident site and recovered the bodies of the deceased and rescued the injured.

Meanwhile, District Police Office DSP Ananta Ram Sharma informed that details of the incident are yet to come.
