Earlier, Birendra Bahadur Singh, 45, and his wife Jala Devi Singh, 38, of Dandagaun, Chabispathibhara Rural Municipality-4 had lost their lives in the incident.
At least six persons were injured in the incident. Among them, Sobhan Dhami, 45, of Chabispathibhara Rural Municipality-5 and Ganesh Nepali of Chabispathibhara Rural Municipality-3 are said to be in critical condition, the District Police Office said.
They have been refered to Nepalgunj for further treatment.
Similarly, two-year-old Bhupendra Singh, son of deceased Birendra Singh, Pashupati Nepali, 27, of Chabispathibhara-3 and seven-month-old daughter of Ganesh Nepali, Muskan are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital.
The ill-fated four-wheeler (Se 1 Ja 837) was heading towards Byansi from Bhande Bazaar when the incident occurred at Netakhan in Chabispathibhara Rural Municipality-4 of the district on Wednesday.
The reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained.
A pall of gloom has enveloped the Byansi Village after two members of a family lost their lives in the accident, rural Municipality Chairman Akkal Bahadur Dhami said.
