Two people were injured when a truck and a jeep collided with each other along the Prithvi Highway at Dhading district on Monday.
According to the police, a truck (Na 5 Kha 8770) en route to Kathmandu and a jeep (ba 17 Cha 1093) heading towards Muglin met with an accident at Thakre-7 in the district. The accident caused a massive fire that destroyed the truck completely.
The two injured were travelling in the jeep and are currently receiving medical treatment at the nearby medical facility.

A fire engine was deployed from the district headquarters to the accident site but it was too late.
The accident and fire has caused a serpentine traffic jam along the highway.
