District Police Office, Kailali SP Binod Ghimire informed two of the suspects were arrested from Kathmandu on Sunday and the other two were detained from Belauri in Kanchanpur on the day of the incident.
SP Ghimire informed that Ugrasen Rana and Raj Kumar Chaudhary of Belauri in Kanchanpur, Ram Prabesh Rana of Dhangadhi-13 and Kalu Rana of Krishnapur-9 were arrested.
“A police team under the command of an Inspector had reached Kathmandu in pursuit of the suspects,” said SP Ghimire, “We are bringing two of the arrested from Gongabu, Kathmandu back to Kailali.”
Two people coming on a motorcycle had opened fire at Nirmal Karki, a employee IME centre based at Purano Sabjimandi in Chauraha, Dhangadi, and snatched the money from him and ran away last Sunday.
