National poet Madhav Prasad Ghimire, who was undergoing treatment at the Gurgaon-based Medanta Hospital in Delhi, India, returned home on Saturday.
He landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport at around 2 pm today.
Nonagenarian poet Ghimire was taken to Delhi on May 23 after he was not recuperating from internal bleeding. He was treated by using Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy technology in the hospital.
Before taking to Delhi, Ghimire, 99, was admitted to the Dhapasi-based Grande Hospital to receive treatment for chronic gastritis and high blood pressure.
