Addressing a joint meeting of the members of both Houses of Parliament at Baluwatar on Tuesday, PM Oli said expressing disatisfaction in haphazard manner would not bring out a solution. Asking the lawmakers to present such issues to the responsible bodies of the party or the parliamentary party, he urged them to play a creative role to endorse the policies and programmes.
The PM also informed the lawmakers that the government would come up with a progressive and pro-socialist budget and that would also compensate for the issues that were not covered in the government’s policies and programmes.
“People have great expectations from the majority government. If we failed to deliver, they would take undesirable decision in the next polls,” PM Oli told the meeting.
The PM has, however, allowed the lawmakers to comment on the issues on which they have expertise, according to the PM’s Secretariat. “Study more to learn what you don’t know and increase your skills. Don’t make emotional comments in haste and do learn to respect people’s verdict,” the secretariat quoted PM Oli as saying.
