Nepal Communist Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli has been unanimously nominated as the Parliamentary Party (PP) leader of the party.
The first meeting of the party held after the unification of two parties—CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre)—at the Parliamentary Party office in New Baneshwor on Saturday afternoon unanimously nominated Oli, who is also the Prime Minister of the country, as the PP leader.
Dev Gurung had proposed Oli’s name. Soon after Gurung proposed Oli’s name, the meeting endorsed it unanimously.
