At a press conference organised at City Hall in the Capital to make a formal announcement of the unification on Thursday, Chairman duo of the NCP KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that the only objective of the party is to materialise people's long cherished dream of development, political stability and prosperity of the country.
Saying that the two communist parties were unified to fight against poverty and to take the country on the path of development, Oli, who is also the Prime Minister of the country, said the main goal of the party is to bring stability and prosperity and develop the country.
Similarly, Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that the party will bring stability, development and prosperity in the country.
