Police have arrested two persons along with a huge cache of contraband drugs from Barah Municipality-10 in Sunsari district.

According to the police, Ajay Bishwakarma and Niwek Shrestha of Dharan were arrested along with 4,350 illegal drugs including Spasmo-Proxyvon, Dialex DC among others brought from Bhimnagar in India.

The police have also confiscated the bike (Ko 25 Pa 6488) the arrestees were travelling in.

In Biratnagar Metropolitan City, police have arrested one Bishal Subedi in possession of illegal drugs from Naharchok in the area. Subedi was smuggling various contraband from Indian bordering town under the seat of his motorcycle (Ko 14 Pa 4943) when the police arrested him.
