A section of the Siddhartha Highway has been obstructed due to a landslide at Tinau Rural Municipality-3 in Palpa on Monday.
Chief of the District Traffic Police Office, Palpa Prabin Acharya, said that hundreds of passengers have been stranded on mid-way due to the obstruction. The incident occurred at around 2 am.
Big rocks brought down by the landslide have posed a challenge to clear the highway, he added. Attempts are underway to remove the debris since the morning, he said. RSS
