An unidentified group detonated an improvised explosive device at Khilung Kalika Agro-firm at Thadakhet, Bhirkot Municipality-7 in Syangja district on Wednesday.

The firm has been producing more than 150,000 eggs daily. The explosion occurred at around midnight.

The police is yet to determine the assailants behind the incident and for what motive, the District Police Office, Syangja said.

The blast has destroyed the electric generator and the firm’s shed. RSS
