Ward chairman missing
The ward chairman of Umakunda Rural Municipality-5 in Ramechhap district has gone missing since Tuesday morning. Kuber Bahadur Khatri, 51, was last seen leaving for Chyadul on his motorcycle to attend the village executive meeting, said his family.bookmark

The ward chairman of Umakunda Rural Municipality-5 in Ramechhap district has gone missing since Tuesday morning. Kuber Bahadur Khatri, 51, was last seen leaving for Chyadul on his motorcycle to attend the village executive meeting, said his family. Sher Bahadur Sunuwar, the chairman of the rural municipality, Khatri’s mobile phone was unreachable when he tried to contact him as he did not show up at the meeting. Police said they recovered Khatri’s motorcycle, his clothes and diary from the bank of Likhu river, but the person remains missing.
