Security personnel have recovered bodies of three persons who went missing after a landslide buried a passenger jeep at Subeda in Bajhang district on Wednesday night.

Security personnel have recovered bodies of three persons who went missing after a landslide buried a passenger jeep at Subeda in Bajhang district on Wednesday night.
According to the police, the bodies of the accident victims—jeep driver Ramesh Chand, of Dodhara Chandani, Kanchanpur, Ammar Raj Ban, of Channa Rural Municipality, and Asu Od, of Kedarsyayun Rural Municipality—were found trapped inside the vehicle on Thursday.
Locals and security personnel from Nepal Police and Nepal Army were engaged in rescue operation since early Thursday morning. They rescue team took help from a bulldozer to pull out the jeep from the landslide debris and recover the bodies of the victims.
Meanwhile, the bodies have been sent to Bajhang-based district hospital for postmortem.
Police said the landslide had swept the jeep (Se 1 Ja 820), en route to district headquarters Chainpur from Tamail of Jay Prithvi Municipality, some 100 meters down the road to Chautya river.
