RPP central member Paudel arrested for fraud

A team deployed from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested Puspa Raj Paudel on the charge of defrauding Rs 8.37 million by presenting fake land ownership certificate.
Paudel aka Purush had presented a fake land ownership certificate of 16 Kattha (58320 sq. ft) land registered in the name of Rudal Raut of Manihari, Parsa, to the Hamro Group of Investment.
Hamro Group had once invested in the Harbe Networking Company. Paudel was the Chairman of the Harbe Networking Company then.
The CIB had arrested operators of Harbe Networking Company including Paudel for operating illegal networking business.
Though Paudel was released after 36 days, his case is still going on in the Kathmandu District Court.
After Paudel quit the investment company, the new board members under Dipendra Babu Karki took over the company.
Poudel had presented the fake land ownership certificate of a Parsa-based land after the new board demanded him to give back the money that he invested in the Harbe Networking Company.
DSP Mohan Thapa of the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, said a fraud case will be lodged against him.
