A rape case has been filed against District Education Officer (DEO) Gyanmani Nepal.
A 15–year–old teenager has accused DEO Nepal of sexual misconduct under the pretext of giving her educational lessons. The girl, who had come to stay with her aunt, was allegedly misbehaved by the accused on Thursday.
The victim's aunt has been working as a cook at the officer's quarter. The girl alleged that the officer took her to a guest room under the pretext of giving her educational lessons at a time when her aunt was away and mistreated her.
Nepal is currently on the loose and a search is being carried out to find him, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Janak Bhattarai. A case of attempted rape has been filed against the officer.
