A man has been arrested in possession of home-made pistols in Hetauda on Wednesday.
The suspect has been identified as Jokar Moktan, 37, aka Anil of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City.
Police said that they have confiscated three home-made pistols, 11 rounds of bullets, explosives, uniform of Nepal Police and two torch lights from Moktan’s possession.
Four persons including Moktan had fled from the micro bus after police intercepted the vehicle for checking in Hetauda this afternoon. Later, police managed to arrest Moktan, SSP Bikash Raj Khanal said.
The identities of three others have already been established, he said. Police are searching for them.
Police suspected that they used to use the weapons for robbery.
