A person was killed and two others injured in a lightning strike at 6 pm on Monday.
Sitaram Rai, 38, of Dudhkoshi – 7 Solukhumbu was struck by thunderbolt as he was working in a field. He died on the spot, according to Province no 1 Police Office, Biratnagar.
In another incident two persons were injured in lightning strike in Khotang district. Punya Bahadur Katuwal's four – year – old son Prem Katuwal from Rupakot – Majhuwagadi of Diktel and Armed Police Force Halesi Battalion's Yuvraj Bishwokarma were injured in the incident. Both are undergoing treatment at the district hospital. RSS
