One person was electrocuted while six others were injured while working in drinking water project at Mahesh Khola in Thakre-11, Dhading.
The deceased has been identified as Niki Tamang of Jhapa. Six others injured are Dhan Bahadur Karki, 37, Niraj Karki, 16, Gopi Kulu, 20, Suresh Kulu, 40, Maili Tamang, 35 and Gautam Tamang all from Tharke in Dhading. They are receiving treatment at Trauma Center in Kathmandu.
Inspector Jiban Niraula at Khalikhola informed the incident happened when an aluminum pipe touched a high voltage wire while the drinking water pipe was being laid to bring water to Mahadevbeshi.
