Muglin road to remain open on New Year day

The Narayangadh-Muglin road section, temporarily closed for traffic movement, will remain open throughout Saturday on account of New Year.
The road section closed from 10am to 4pm to enable the ongoing road expansion work, will remain open throughout the New Year day, an official said on Friday.
Narayangadh-Mungling Road Project Engineer Shiva Khanal said, “We have planned to open the road section based on people’s movement on the Nepali New Year. Our workers also need a rest.”
Construction work resumes from Sunday and traffic movement on the 33.2km Narayangadh-Muglin road section will remain closed for six hours as earlier, he said, and added the project has completed 88 percent of road expansion till the date.
