Two cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) were arrested for their alleged involvement in carrying out explosions in Udayapur a week ago.
The suspects have been identified as Purna Tamang, 35, and Janak Shrestha, 40.
Tamang was arrested from Rampur and Shrestha from Gaighat, police information officer Man Prasad Shrestha said.
A bomb was detonated at Chuhade-based crusher factory in Triyuga Municipality on Sunday and another was exploded in Gaighat.
Paras Rai, 14, was injured in the Gaighat explosion. Rai is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Biratnagar.
Tamang and Shrestha have been kept at the custody of District Police Office for investigation.
