Cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) looted Hupsekot Rural Municipality ward 3 office on Wednesday night.
Police said computer, printer, lamination machine and important paperworks were looted by the cadres who broke into the building. Hand-written pamphlets of the party have been found in the building premises, informed Hupsekot Rural Municipality Chairperson Laxmi Panday.
Earlier, the party had written a letter and asked the local level chiefs to resign from their posts.
