Three poachers have been arrested in possession of loaded muskets from Bardiya National Park in Barbardiya-9 of Bardiya district on Thursday.
The arrestees have been identified as Meghraj Pariyar, Janak Ram Tharu and Kunnu Ram Tharu of Barbardiya-9, Bardiya National Park’s Conservation Officer Manoj Sah said.
A National Park team confiscated a loaded musket, 11 rounds of iron bullets and a Khukuri from their possession.
The office said a case will be filed against them under National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act.
