Two children died after being struck by lightning at Dandakhali in Jorayal Rural Municipality-2 of Doti on Wednesday.
According to DSP Shiva Bahadur Singh, the deceased have been identified as 11-year-old Om Prasad Bhandari , son of Chakra Bhandari, and nine-year-old Bhuwan Bhandari, son of Khem Bhandari.
The thunderbolt struck them while they were played in the kitchen of Khem Bhandari’s house, DSP Singh informed.
Police said that they are looking into the incident.
