A 12-year-old girl died after she was hit by a speeding motorcycle in Bardiya district.

Swastika Tharu of Gulariya-8 died during course of treatment at district hospital in Gulariya after she was hit by a motorcycle (Bhe 3 Pa 1950) near Bypass Chowk.

Police has detained 14-year-old motorcyclist Kiran Dasaudi. Police said Dasaudi did not have a license to drive the motorcycle and is preparing to file a case against him.
