An unknown group hurled a stone at Ward Chairman of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-10 Arunpidit Bhandari. He was attacked in the busy Sahidchok of Narayangadh market in Chitwan at around 4 pm on Tuesday.

The mobsters sprinkled used motor oil and hurled stone as soon as he hopped out of his car upon reaching the market, eyewitnesses said. He was taken to Bharatpur Hospital for treatment following the incident. Police said his condition is normal.
