Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is on a three-day state visit to India, was accorded ‘guard of honour’ amidst a special ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Saturday morning.
“The relationship between Nepal and India is historical. Nepal will maintain good relations with all the neighbouring countries,” PM Oli said after receiving the ‘guard of honour', adding, “On top of that the relation with India is important."
Saying that Nepal and India share a long history of mutual support and cooperation, the Prime Minister said that his visit would further strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Indian President Ram Nath Kovind and PM Oli are holding a meeting.
